Challenging??

I am starting to see quite a few reporst that this game isn't very hard.

Can some of you guys comment on the level of challenge? Thanks

I think its pretty challenging, batting is tough for me cause i dont use the pitch icon and i havent gotten used to it yet.

If you want a challenging game get HH 2004. There are so many game play attributes that can be tuned and it has the best batting model IMHO. The stats are realistic and the pitch counts are much higher than HH 2003. I am having a blast with the game. The atmosphere is lacking, but who cares about crowd noise and atmosphere? Baseball is supposed to be boring anyway.

I have HH04, and I had a friggin no-hitter through 7 and the damn game froze.

HH04 as of right now is the best simulation of a sport in this history if gaming, however, I hear great thinsg about WSB. I just was curious about the challeneg because HH04 is perfect in that regard.

I used to say that until I started playing WSB and now I'm not sure I can go back to High Heat. It's nice to have quality presentation, outstanding graphics, and very solid gameplay.

I find WSB very challenging, but then again I haven't played a baseball game with a cursor-based swing mechanism in a few years. I played quite a bit over the past two days and I am learning how to hit better. I think the game is challenging with all of the aids turned off and the sliders make the difficulty level highly tuneable.

I'm haivng no problem being challenged by the CPU in this game. I can't imagine that anyone would find the game too easy on the most difficult settings (Legend). Whatever problems there were last year with challenge, they have been fixed this year.

With the sliders you can make any game easy. Atleast we didn't see-- WSB is too easy. Oh by the way I edited my sliders on Legend to 0.

with the right sliders you get get it to be difficult a little sacrafice of realism. Just bit because the CPU will be very selective on their pitches to the point that they only swing a good ones a high majority of the time. But it will be hard.
