It is definitely possible to get them to swing at pitches out of the zone, but guys who are patient hitters won't swing out of the zone very much, I usually go with change of speeds on those guys, guys who strike out a lot will chase almost anything when down 0-2, it seems very real to me.

Was that necessary? Especially when you can in MVP.
Man why can't some people accept the fact that more than one game cam be owned and played.....

What level are you playjng on? Last year I noticed on the lower levels it was harder to strike guys out. Also the SIM slider might cause the lack of K's. I have my SIM slider at 8 and I usually get 8-9 K's with guys like Kris Benson and Kip Wells, but lower amounts with my 4-5 starters....
