Do hit by pitches count as walks? If not does the game even record hit by pitches. For some reason I can't find the stat anywhere. Also, does anybody know a quicker way to intentionally walk someone without having to throw four balls or pitch outs?

Faster way? Duh you hit them with the ball. being hit by a pitch counts as walks. I don't think they keep a hit by pitch stat. -

Being HBP does NOT count as a walk. It is a separate stat. It does however count as a plate appearance.Comment
