What hit setting is everyone using?

And, what would you estimate your ground ball/fly ball ratio to be?

    Classic Cursor
    Exaggerated Pitching turned on

I have no idea on the ratio. I do get ground balls though, usually when I have the cursor too high.

I use zone hitting, exaggerated pitching. I get a variety of hits. My only problem are the over abundance of Willie Mays over-the-shoulder catches. Catches that should possibly go over there heads or should drop in the gap are caught too much.

Easy Batting, AllStar Difficulty, with exaggerated pitching on. I'm pretty happy with the variety of hits that I've been getting with these settings.

I just spent about an hour in BP testing classic cursor out and I noticed that the area the ball is hit is greatly influenced by the direction the pitch is coming in from, as well as the portion of the cursor you get on the ball.

This may be obvious to some, but I am a first time player of ASB, and this seems very realistic to me.

During BP I drove a few liners off the pitchers net, and it was nice to see it bounce back.. Little things, but very well done overall. I had homers bounce off the hill beyond the wall in the Grapefruit League field and come back onto the playing field.. Also, very nice touch. I love the interactive stands and objects beyond the wall.

                        Classic cursor
                        Exaggerated pitching OFF
                        Veteran difficulty
Fly ball/ Ground ball 70/30 (rough estimate)

Most of my outs are fly outs to CF. I don't hit very many balls down the lines, they are mostly hit between left-center and right-center. I have noticed that the computer OF's make alot of jumping catches (sorta like all those Willie Mays catches from last year). That being said, I have seen alot of different types of hits.

I use Classic w/ Exaggerated pitching on veteran, and although I still have a long way to go, I still manage a couple runs a game.

But I got no-hit by Mark Prior. And I liked it! My hands were sweating as I hit that game ending grounder toward the hole in the right side of the infield only to have it not get through. Exciting stuff, even when you lose.
