Player progression?

Okay, I'm still very early on in the first year of my Cardinals franchise. What I'm curious about is from those of you who have simmed several seasons of franchise. What kind of player progression have you seen? Older players decline? Youngsters improving? No change at all? Very interested to hear about this. Thanks.

I'm not far enough along in my franchise to be able to answer, but I have a similar question. Is the progression of a player tied to performance? E.g., if I have a young guy on the inactive roster who doesn't play at all, will he still improve, or will he only improve if he gets playing time?

if you look fo rthe thread that either i started or answered you will get a more detailed answer. But from what i have simlated which is about 15 seasons they never decline not even the year they retire.
