Is there position fatigue in game?

    Hiya everyone.

Earlier today I was messin around in ASB and I decided to simulate a season and take a look at stats and such.

One thing that stood out was that each team had one or two players that played 155+ games.

This made me wonder if position fatigue is in ASB? If it is, and I simulate, are players automatically substituted in or will they play at their position repeatedly tired?

Also, when playing all my games (no simming) will I be told when players are tired and asked to make a substitution or isn't there any indication of a player being tired?

Any help with this would be great. All-Star baseball seems to be very realistic in both stats and gameplay, I am just wondering if position fatigue is also in game, if subs are automatically made when simming, and if there is a way to know when your position players are tired during the season.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

CPU will automatically substitute when you sim (for tired players). I know when you are batting, there is a fatique bar below your players names when they are batting. That is the only way I know how to tell.

Ok thanks, do you know how many days rest is needed for a guy to not be tired anymore?

For instance, if I see a guy tired in a game, would taking him out and subbing for him that game work?

Also, when in a franchise is there any idication for players that are tired on the roster or can you only see it in game?

        Thanks again.

Check under the DL screen. It says things like "needs rest" and "tired" for pitchers. Last year it said the same things for position players, so I'm guessing it's there again this year.

nope the best way is to check your line ups and then see if they are tired. If they are you need to sit them that game or thell hit like [censored]......and they need to be subed before the game not during if you do it during thelly still be tired for the next game

Here's another thing to note: off-days for your team during the season affect fatigue too.

For instance, I had Robin Ventura playing about 15 straight games and his stamina bar (already mentioned by Heelfan) was red and was almost completely empty. I saw this a day before an off-day for the Yankees. The day after the offday, Ventura's stamina meter was blue and completely filled!

This is another great touch and adds to the realism of this game!

There is position fatigue, but I haven't seen how much it impacts a player. Just don't start the guy in the game and have him come off the bench late in the game.

Dang... it's been a while since I've posted here.

if you sim alot of games watch out you have enough specific position guys to back up--i carried only one catcher for a season but had 3 UT players--the computer never sat my reg catcher and he hit a buck 80 for the season and was always fatigued.
