    Re: Pro vs. AllStar

I really like the MVP franchise mode. Jumping into simmed games is huge for me. I would never be able to play a full season if I tried to play every game, and simming 80% of my games would make me feel uninvolved. Now I can play some games and partially sim some games, and still feel like I'm mostly involved in what's going on with my team.

Year-to-year stat tracking would have been nice as well as some kind of non-pitcher fatigue concept, but I can look past those things...at least in the first year of MVP. Hopefully they'll buff up the franchise mode next year.

is there a major difference between the two besides difficulty, for instance speed of the game?

Right now I am on Pro. Overall, I am having a blast...unfortunately I am having trouble getting to .500. Below is a breakdown of a few stats.

                Team - Royals
                Overall Record: 13-18
                Runs Scored: 125
                Runs Scored / Game: 4.03
                HR's: 20
                Hr's / Game: 0.64
                Team BA: .320
                Team ERA: 4.14

looks like your offense is fine with the 4 runs a game and .300+ batting avg.

You gotta work on that pitching.

But with KC's young corps, I wouldn't worry. Stick with 'em long enough and you'll probably build a powerhouse.
