Re: Has this happened to anyone?
Yea I was forced to do that and that is the complaint that I have. And now my whole rotation is messed up, I have to go in before every game now to change this. I could see how it would do this if I simmed games and I would have no problem with that, but I haven't simmed any so it makes little sense to me as to why it would do it automatically. I don't mean to bitch about the game because I think it is great (aside from the disapearing players) but you guys keep telling me the same thing and I think it's a load of crap that the game does this by itself.Comment

Re: Has this happened to anyone?
From a purely mathematical standpoint, Wes, you may only have to use HeelFan's suggestion for a short period of time.
In theory, as soon as you have played through a stretch of your schedule that includes 5 off-days, your rotation may be back on track.
Of course, you may not see 5 off-days until you've played through 5-7 weeks of your schedule....but it's possible this could work.Congratulations BUTLER BULL DOGS!

Re: Has this happened to anyone?
I'm sure this has been mentioned....but this is certainly not a bug. Know your baseball before you gripe about stuff like this. When your number one starter has his 4 full days of rest...he's gonna pitch. Teams rarely give pitchers 5 or more days off. And if your 5 man is that great...put him in the 4 man rotation and get the worst one to the 5 man...the 5th man misses about 5-7 starts throughout a year in baseball. Ever since High Heats 3rd out bug, everyone is dying to find a bug in ASB. ASB has it right!Comment

Re: Has this happened to anyone?
Ok, I take back my original statement of it being a possible bug. I still say however that it should not automatically skip the 5th starter in favour of the number one guy without some sort of interaction from the user. I know that the rotation goes through changes throughout the year and I know that pitchers like to stay to the same schedule but they pitch when the manager tells them too. And wouldn't you know it I'm the manager of this team so why did the game assume that I wanted my number one guy to start? That is what I'm trying to say.Comment

Re: Has this happened to anyone?
Happened to me last year... I just prefered using all my starters and giving hte fifth guy his start...
This year's version, I've come fully prepared and my top three guys will get 33+starts this year.Comment
