Why do the Batters RESET themselves when u swing????

I demoed the game at EB and wound up not liking it just from playing 2 at bats

I didnt like that when you did a check swing or a timing swing that the batter animation reset itself instead of following thru with the animation...it felt terrible and ruined the flow of a batter getting set before a pitch

also the outfielders arms seemed to throw balls very loopy back into the infield.....I just didnt want to play further

Can someone who has the game tell me how this game feels compared to last years version?........Last year I felt that nothing really mattered when trying to set up batters and your pitchers could go a whole game without any consequences and the feeling of utilizing your bulpen was non existent. How was the game felt improved all around from last year?

I am curious to give it a try but I want some fair opionions from people who didnt like last years game so much....

Has fielding been given more variety and errors this year?

it plays MUCH smoother than last year--a little faster too

with the AI sliders u can tweak to your hearts content

the swing animation does seem goofy--if u sit there and focus on it

overall...BIG difference from last years

If you decide that a silly swing animation will stop you from playing the game past 2 at bats, nobody here will be able to change your mind.

well said. that only happens btw, if you press the swing button again in the middle of the 'practice' swing or if the pitcher is in his wind up.
