CheckMate pretty much summed it up. I would also like to add that stealing a base is a B!TCH! Have to get a good lead, have a fast runner AND get a good pitch to steal on. Otherwise you're meat...

Thats not exactly true. I steal all the time with Ray Durham. Two steps to lead off and then I press up immediately (the cpu will then steal for you as soon as the pitcher commits to home). I rarely get thrown out.

Now with players who aren't blazing fast like Durham, I get thrown out more regularly, but its not impossible. I stole second with Barry Bonds the other day.

For the first time ever in a baseball video game I actually stole third (never managed to do that before). I did that with Ray Durham as well.

I play on MVP level in case anyone was wondering.

        There is no MVP level.

You know, with a title like MVP Baseball, you would think that there would have been an MVP level.

My mistake. I meant I am playing on All Star (or all pro or hall of fame or whatever the heck the highest level is called).

The whole franchise interface and menu system is totally different to any other baseball game I've seen. It really is awesome, I'm an ASB veteran, and I love the game this year, but there is something drawing me into MVP.
