    having ultimate satisfaction with mvp?

in order to appreciate what a great title this is, you need to play it strictly on all-star level. it is so competitve and realistic. i am reading all of these post and 75% of the people are relaying there success to us based on pro level. i agree pro is ok, but you cant possibly feel like you are getting the most out of this game unless you play on all-star level. the cpu is tough and you cant let your guard down for 1 second. every pitch counts. on pro, you can make a mistake and get away with it. not on all star. i beat the rays on pro 11-5 w/ 4 homers. then i felt i was on my way and the twinkies spanked me 15-3 w/ a 10 run ninth. i feel like it is the ultimate baseball challenge and everyone should play on all-star eventually or if they post , tell us what level you are using cause it makes a world of difference.

does anyone agree, that pro and all-star are 2 different animals in terms of competition and should not be combined

i'm gonna do what i've done every time i've played a season on a video game that i've never played before. PRO up until the all-star break, ALL-STAR the rest of the way.

I was pondering this last night. You REALLY have to THINK baseball on All-Star. Pitching becomes a game of out guessing the CPU players. Darn Larry Walker hits about anything that is not a wild pitch!

It's hard as heck for me to crush a homerun on AS, but I really do feel like I've earned it when I do. Like most people have said, work the pitchers like the CPU batters work you.

Have you guys noticed that the CPU hits more homeruns on all-star than on pro? Also, is it a lot harder to strike out the CPU on all-star?

i don't know about anyone else, but i was relieved to open this thread and find out that having "ultimate satisfaction" with MVP involved nothing more than playing it on all-star.....
