Other games have shortfalls, WSB does not. Like a previous poster said, WSB is the complete package.

Re: Simple question, yes or no answer...

I had HH and now have WSB. My impression:
Graphics: WSB, hands down...although the HH graphics are certainly serviceable.
Sound: WSB hands down, ESPECIALLY if you have X-Box (5.1 digital surround WooHoo!). I actually like the commentary of HH better, but the surround sound, sound effects and ambient sound MORE than make up for this.
Batting: WSB gives you the option of either timed swings or cursor, so you kind of get the best of both worlds..although Homers appear to be easier in WSB, they don't appear to be 'out of hand' high.
Pitching: HH wins simpy by virtue of having almost 3 times the amount of pitch types. Other than that, I really like both games, pitching-wise. I do seem to get more SO's in WSB and the CPU seems to swing and miss an awful lot. HH has a more realilstic occurance of foul balls as well.
Feilding: HH seems a tad more responsive and intuitive, I find myself missing easy ground balls in WSB, but nothing drastic.
Other stuff: Franchise depth: WSB wins easily. Coaches who impact the game and players..as well as a virtual plethora of options make the WSB franchise mode awesome!. HH does have the 2 vs. 2 showdown, but WSB has historical players, retro-uniforms and very sweet looking stadiums.

What does this all mean? Not much, really. Both games offer very enjoyable baseball gameplay. The areas that HH beats WSB in, they do so by a relatively small margin, while the areas that WSB beats HH in, it does by a LARGE margin.

Oh, sliders...if you live for the ability to customize your gameplay, the HH is the way to go. They have a slider for everything....otherwise, I would go with WSB.

I have both WSB and MVP and I think they're both pretty solid. Neither game is perfect. I'd have to say that if I were going to choose one game to play two-player on I would go with MVP. WSB has a deeper franchise mode and crisper graphics and is just all around more polished than MVP, but the pitcher-batter interface in MVP is sweet for 2 player.
