I have read the batting is entirely timing based? If this is so, is it possible to get walks? Does the hitting get easy after learning the new system? Any info would be appreciated.

I find myself working deep into counts in this game more than any other. With cursor batting, I almost reflexively swing as I aim (I know, this is my own damned fault). What separates MVP from the others is the mistake pitch icon. I find myself taking at least one strike looking for a mistake pitch to drive. A simple, brilliant innovation, IMO.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

I totally agree.....when I am busy lining up the cursor to the ball, i am far less likely to really read the pitch and really think about patience. I think I just get so keyed up to get the cursor lined up that I swing based on whether my aim lined up regardless of whether it was a good pitch to drive or not.gt: casey yellowstone PS5Comment

In MVP, there have been pitches where I said man I should have swung then not get a good pitch for the rest of the at bat. I never feel that way with the cursor, it's just line it up and swing no matter the count.
