I am playing as the Mets and the Red Sox offered me Nomar and a scrub pitcher for Leiter, Weathers and a minor league shortstop. I wanted to pull the trigger soooo bad but the Mets are already thin on pitching. Leiter is my number two guy. Ohhh decisions, decisions.............This game is awesome! I mean we are talking Nomar here!

When you say that they offered you that trade, where did you see that? I'm still trying to figure out what people are talking about in regards to be offered trades. If you're talking about on the Manager screen, hitting the left trigger and then A, that's not an offer, that's your manager coming up with trade possibilities. If you actually try to hit start to go through with that trade, a lot of times it says "We would never give up Nomar" or something similar. CPU offered trades "pop-up" between games in the schedule screen. When you slect a game to play or sim, it sims the rest of the league. It is here that you will get a pop-up winddow saying a CPU team is offering a trade. Also, when your Scouting Department finds a hot prospect during the season it will also appear here.
