You can't turn injuries off in franchise?!?

Am i correct? there is no option to turn off injuries in franchise mode? I guess the realism is good and what not, but damn, in the first game of my franchise with the braves, Vladdy went down for 12 days with a strained rib cage, he got it sliding into 3rd on a triple that sparked a 5 run 8th inning and gave up the 5-1 win. Now I'm gonna be without my boy Vlad for about 8 or 9 games!!1 It really sucks, because i actually play all the games, i don't sim.

Take it like a man, If you wanna play without injuries you might well play on Rookie level too.....

You should be happy its only 9 games, I've seen people complaining about 200+ day injuries. Ouch!

well, if you wanna turn injuries off, then you really can't be too choosy about how realistic the game should be. i welcome the injuries. had my first one last night, robin ventura pulled his groin, i was estatic.

and i hope you at least had the decency to trade away chipper jones or someone like that in order to get vladdy on the braves......

I lost Jeter for 68 says so stop crying j/k
Hey it makes the game fun. I had to do some shuffling and a small trade to deal with the problem. I am still holding onto first place and Jeter will be back in 22 more days so hopefully it won't hurt my team too bad.

i can cry if i want to! anyways, yeah, i know it's realistic. It's just a lot more of a bitch for someone who actually plays their games rather than simming, but i'll deal with it.

P.S. I traded Sheffield and Paul Byrd for Guerrero.

I don't sim games, either.....I'd rather play them all. I'd hate to have Giambi lead the Yanks in home runs and to only have hit, like, 10 of them myself.
