What I'd like to see next year in MVP... (please add thoughts/suggestions)

Besides all of the very valid gameplay suggestions already made, I'd like to see these features added:
-Historical players (ASB is KILLER for this) and old time ballparks. VERY attractive feature to me; the more the better.
-The ability to choose controller sides during a franchise game. If I build a big lead, I like to turn it over to the CPU and watch him finish the game. While this may not be high on everyone's list, it is a standard feature in all other EA Sports games, and most sports games, period. I am begging EA to include this next season. Heck, sometimes I just watch the games unfold while I surf the net.
-Similarly, if you wish to quit a game, there should be an option to let the CPU sim the rest of the game.
-In-game saves. A no-brainer, though the games do go by very quickly.
-Enhanced franchise mode with minor league stats, etc.
-Sliders. Yes, i know some don't like them and I think the game plays very well as is, but the more customizable a game can be, the better, IMO.
-A plain old HR Derby in addition to the HR Showdown.
    -Online play!

I agree with your suggestions (except I'm not a huge fan of sliders - but I can live with them). I would add:

-Tracking of year-to-year and career stats in franchise mode

-Some kind of position player fatigue concept in franchise/season, so there's a reason to use your bench players and build a strong bench.

-Some way to see how tired your relief pitchers are before you bring them in the game.

    - Warming up pitchers in the bullpen

Overall, great effort by EA. Hopefully they continue to make the game better.

        -Add the Hill in Houston
        -Fix the tagging issue
-Make the double play animations a bit smoother.
-Players get out of the box a tad faster
-Be able to run over the catcher
-Add a 1b and 3b coach. Have them avoid foul lien drives ect.
        -Add a player editor
-Let you add more letters on create a player
        -Fix the crowd
-Fix the players in the dugout.
        -Add working scoreboards
-Make it a bit easier to hit homeruns. It seems like they are afraid to let you hit homeruns in this game. Even if you hit just a few more than you should it makes the game more fun.
        -Add future stadiums, old stadium
        -Add a jump button
        -Add Sosa's hop
-Have the fans throw the ball back at wrigley
        -Make the franchise deeper.

*Sliders are not that important to me. Make the game right the first time. They are nice to have so you can adjust to your liking but they are not the most important thing to me.
*Mid game saves. I don't care for this either. If you don't have time to play a game don't start one. Or if you have to stop a game for some reason just pause it.

Regarding the Hill in Houston--I just took a look at this and the hill is in there. granted the slope is not that steep, but i definitely slowed down when i ran up it. i do think it could be improved slightly, along with the left field area with all of the "nooks and crannies".

I'm not quite sure what your looking at but I just re-checked and there is not a hill there nor do players slow down any when they run in that area. Try using the replay and check it out. There is not a hill there not even slighty. Its not that big of a deal but it would just add to the realism.

I guess you're right, I just saw the grassy area and ran around on it and I guess there really is no slope to it. Oh well.
