I am using the Cubs for my franchise and Kerry Wood and Prior are racking up a lot of 'Ks' thus far. Wood is first, with Pedro and Randy right behind him. Basically, I have Wood, Prior and Clement in the top 10 with strikeouts. My other 2 pitchers are nowhere near this level, so the stats aren't 'outrageously' unrealistic. I have reached 15 K's twice thus far in my season..on of which coming after a game where I struck out none.

All things considered, my K rate isn't even the best in the majors...so while I have a few pitchers who kick ***, I have others who suck it.

Muskrat I was asking for the average of the actual major league. The reason I am asking is because I strike out a lot (b/c I have no plate discipline ). I was just curious on how many times I strike out is within reason of the actual MLB.

Aaahh...sorry about that. I would think that 5-7 strike outs per game would be average (maybe even high average). I average around 8-10 (depending on the pitcher) and I have limited discipline as well.
