    Hey JRod!

Since the manual doesn't explain the levels of play (Rookie, Pro, and All-Star), is there any way you could email someone from the MVP team and ask them which level yields the best results? (Pro or All-Star). Maybe ask them what the differences are?

Does rookie have a hitting bonus for the user? maybe Pro a tad less and All-Star none? ...etc?

I would really like to know what the major differences between Pro and All-Star are. I can't hit a HR to save my life on AS, but the games have more hits on Pro. I'm stuck between levels.

    Thanks,

    Todd

man im the same way stuck between pro and allstar,

im able to win and loose games on both level, but on allstar hrs and ks are very difficult and pro its a perfect amount, but hitting from that side angle definatly making things different and if ur good at that try side angle with the strikezone off its definatly more challenging

even with that im stuck right now ive been switching it from game to game to see what works better

    maybe ea will send something

I always play with the strikezone off. Seems like the ball goes farther on Pro, but AS is more challenging. The Brewers had 28 hits on me on Pro, on AS the top has been 14. CPU Homeruns and K's are right on with Pro, but I strikeout at a more realistic rate on AS.

Maybe I just need some more games under my belt, but I have no idea on how to get the CPU to hit a few more dingers without throwing it down the middle.

Thanks! Just switched back to Pro and had a good game. When I sim games, pitchers last longer than 5 innings, but when you play, the CPU takes them out too soon. Tells me the sim engine and the play engine are two different animals.

just keep playin guys, ive already put maybe 40-50 hours in on this game (Spring Break) I was stuck between pro and allstar, but now i play all my games on allstar and i get the same results as i used to on pro, 0-4 home runs for me per game, 5-8 K's, and a lot more cpu runs and HR's. Just stick with it, youll get the feel for it and have some realy close games
