    A No-HItter!....Doh!

I almost want to shoot myself. Playing against the Expos in the opening day game of my season (I'm the Charlotte Hogs....if you're from NC, you'll understand the choice of mascot ). Two outs bottom of ninth I get Vlad Guerrero to pop up to my LF whom I mistakingly think will catch it until it hits by his ankle. Why the heck is the circle so freaking big to determine where the ball is going to land? No wind (dome). And if you need to stand in front of the circle, why have a circle at all? Why not just an X or something. Oh well, I'm just venting. I actually like the game, though I still can't seem to score much on any level until the 8th inning when they bring in a weak relief pitcher.

That sucks... so far, I've gone five innings deep with a no-hitter.

I'm about to get serious with my franchise...I have played a few games, I'm thinking of starting over and getting real serious about it. I thought of waiting til the updated rosters came out, but hell, there is only about 5 or so guys not in the game....and who's to say I can't create them as well as acclaim can. I think I'll start over and get real serious about my franchise.

What does Charlotte have to do with the "Hogs" name. My Dad is from there. I am the Carolina Copperheads. We play in Charlotte.

Just last night, I threw a Complete Game, 1-hitter (no walks, either), 10 K against the Twins with Rick Helling. The one hit came in like the 5th or 6th inning....otherwise, a perfect game!
