My fav detail is by far the working scoreboards. I don't know what it is.. but having things in the stadium actually working in REAL-TIME really ADDS to the atmosphere IMHO (same thing in NCAA 2k3). I wish all sports games would eventually add in the real-time scoreboards... and eventually move towards animated 3d animated real-time scenes (walking people, moving cars on the street, beer men covering the stands, working clocks etc..) outside and inside of the actual stadium. I believe ASB 2004 is about as close to a good graphical atmosphere I have seen in a sports game. Atmoshphere imo is a major part of the enjoyment of a sports game...especially single player vs AI... it adds a whole nother dimension of depicting the sport realistically and really making you feel like your at a major league park.

I really enjoyed a particular sequence of event that just happened. I hit a homer and pressed L1 or R1 and it makes your player taunt the pitcher, anyway the pitcher went right for my head the very next time that I came to bat. GREAT!!! Also the interviews with Buck O'Neil are worth their weight in gold. The fact that he is so sharp and full of so many important historical tidbits about the Negro League that it is a must watch and learn for every true baseball fan.

I to, love the Buck O'neil clips. It's hard to believe that a 91 yr old could still be so sharp and full of information. I also love his speech pattern ahem ASB should've just had ALL the clips with Buck ahem (sorry hehe) Too bad it has to have Jeter as the coverboy when his clips are the most pointless pieces of drivel i've ever seen.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
