ASB was an awesome game last year. Now it's just that more great to play. I can't wait to see what they have coming out for next years.

I've had ASB2002, 2003, and 2004 now, and this game seems like a completely different game. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe its the new batter interfaces and excellent franchise mode. Who knows. All I know is that this game rocks!

After the appeal, I check my guys swing after wards... most of the time, their calls are wrong (he went around, but they say he didn't go around). Nice Umpire mistakes in the game, costly too.

Also, I like the fact that I haven't seen a Willie's Bread Basket Catch.

I also like the new camera action when the ball is hit to the outfield, I thought I was playing Madden.

                    I play with the Cubs.

Today, after beating the yankees, I notice that hee seop choi gave the pitcher the "bow" after getting the final out of the game.

Choi put his hands together and bowed.

                    It was so funny.

Kazuhiro Sasaki does that too!!! just like in real life. Anyhow, today I saw a dropped third strike for the first time and Bret Boone was able to reach first! Just another reason to love this game!

Yeah, the dropped third strikes are cool. I also like at the end of the game how the person who makes the last out, or if the pitcher gets the a strikeout, or if a batter gets the game winning hit, they have the guy walk up to either the 1st base coach,3rd base coach, or the catcher to high five .

My fav detail is by far the working scoreboards. I don't know what it is.. but having things in the stadium actually working in REAL-TIME really ADDS to the atmosphere IMHO (same thing in NCAA 2k3). I wish all sports games would eventually add in the real-time scoreboards... and eventually move towards animated 3d animated real-time scenes (walking people, moving cars on the street, beer men covering the stands, working clocks etc..) outside and inside of the actual stadium. I believe ASB 2004 is about as close to a good graphical atmosphere I have seen in a sports game. Atmoshphere imo is a major part of the enjoyment of a sports game...especially single player vs AI... it adds a whole nother dimension of depicting the sport realistically and really making you feel like your at a major league park.
