I had to 'fix' his batting stance, someone THAT big is not going to have THAT batting stance....

I agree with you guys. WSB2k3 is starting to become more of a chore than a pleasure to play. For one, I am striking out too many guys with mediocre pitchers such as Chuck Finley and Jason Schmidt. I've tried too many slider combinations (including the "big 3" listed in Graphik's thread).

I also find it too easy to hit. I have about 6 guys who have averages over .350 (Jose Cruz Jr., Ray Durham, Travis Hafner, Karim Garcia, Barry Bonds, Rich Aurilia). I am the #1 in the league for Hits and AVG. Yes, I am playing on Legend mode with Very Small Batting Cursor, Very Fast Pitch Speed and alternating between Medium & High Variable Pitching.

The CPU doesn't even warm up their pitchers in my game. They just bring anyone in at anytime. Heck, it's the 6th inning, their pitcher is down to 1/4 stamina and he's coming up to bat (with the lead). The CPU lets him bat and brings in a non-warmed up pitcher in the next half-inning.

I don't mind the player scaling problems or lack of faces issues. Got used to them in High Heat.

Honestly, this is IMO the best baseball game out of this year's crop and probably the best baseball game I've played in a long time. WSB2k3 just lost...its flair I guess.

Since I am dying to upgrade my 'puter, I might just sell this game for money.

PS: No, I am not an anti-SEGA fanboy or whatever. I have owned most of the 2k3 games this year and although the foundation for all of the games are there, little kinks in the game keep the game from being really fun.

Examples: Superhuman goalies in NHL2k3 & Wide Receivers dropping the ball even while they are wide open in NFL2k3.

Sega fixed the receiver problem in the latest xbox live patch. NFL 2k3 now kicks tons of ***, it's great.
