Re: What is your best game so far (in ASB)?

Well last night i started playing for real. I also started using ZONE batting, seems to work for me (only prob. is trying to swing at low balls. Well anyways my fav. game came last night in spring training. WHITESOX and ROYALS. It's hella hard to believe it but James Baldwin actually struck out 11. Anyways bottom of 1st. Carlos Lee came up to the dish, pulled some fouled balls and evened out the count. 3-2 pitch and SMACK..DEEP to right field. (Might add 1st homer i had without playing EASY batting). I felt really impressed because i think im actually getting the hitting finally after 4 games. Another thing i might add, this years ASB2004 is surpurb, very realistic and challenging to the limit. (I love it!!!..it great).
Well back to the game. Well after blasting my first HR i was excited. Well until the 13 inning, Big Hurt came strolling, and i said to myself, THIS IS SO MINE!!. got comfortable in my chair, snug closer to the plate and CRACK. GAME winning HR (2nd ever).

    JUST AMAZING.

        12-10 13th inning loss.
2 of the extra innings had scorings that being the home team, my team came back to tie, but not in the 13th.
It was a lot of fun though.

I just played my best game. It was the first game in the Divisional Playoffs (I simmed a lot of games, although I'm going to play every playoff game). I'm the Brewers, and had the misfortune of getting the D'Backs in the first round. Game 1 was Sheets vs. Schilling. Both guys were unhittable. It was 0-0 in the top of the 8th, when Ronnie Belliard hit a ball into the gap. He tried for the triple, and the cutoff man threw the ball into the dugout, allowing Belliard to score. Sheets finished them off, and I won the game, 1-0. Sheets' line was 9 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 10 K, he was a monster. Now I have to try to beat the Unit and send the series to Miller Park up 2-0.

Well I still suck at hitting but it was a game against the BoSox and it was 0-0 in the 10th inning. The BoSox send in Timlin and the first pitch he throws (which is to Delgado) is smashed into right field.

I kinda found that funny as that ended the ballgame
