Maybe I'm misreading posts about levels and custom sliders.

1. Aren't the ROOKIE, PRO, ALLSTAR and LEGEND sliders set by default and except for the two MISC. sliders that appear underneat the sliders cannot be moved (change)

If so I THINK I'm seeing that people are, for example, playing on ALLSTAR making changes in the CUSTOM slider settings and saying that it effects gameplay in ALLSTAR? If I'm reading this wrong, somebody slap me.

To play a game with custom slider settings you have to play in CUSTOM mode, correct. Changing them have no effect in other modes of play.

Your are correct. The sliders in the four levels can not be changed. I believe most people mean that they are playing with all-star...etc type factors(cursor size,pitch speed,active bullpen..etc) and adusting sliders levels for the CPU. Hope this helps.

Thanks, somewhat. Are you saying you can play on one mode and the AI on another. I tried adjusting this and it seems if you are on ALLSTAR, so is the AI?
