I've had this happen to me both during a game and after saving a few games. I agree that it is very frustrating for a game that is very fun to play. I am seriously considering exchanging it for either World Series or MVP if it continues. I've played and enjoyed the past 2 PS2 versions of HH and think that this is their best one yet, but I will not continue to try and play it with this major problem. This is the only PS2 game that does this on my system.

Any suggestions?

This was posted on another site and I'm not sure if it works or not, but thought I'd pass it along:

OPEN DISC TRAY..DONT RESET...CLOSE DISC TRAY...this usually makes the disc start spinning again, unfreezing your game...

I've had problems with HH freezing on the Summary screen. Now I never look at the summary screen and I haven't had it freeze since then.
