Check swing

It's a small gripe, but I wish it was easier to check your swing. In ASB, for example, the button is not as sensitive and the swing may be checked easier.

Now that I am used to the strike zone, it's getting much better, but I still need to slow up now and again, and I am having problems doing it.

How easy is it to check your swing in real baseball?

Maybe WSB is the one that got it right?

I thought of this too, but the button being so sensitive makes it impossible to "follow" the pitch, in my opinion. It's not easy to check a swing in real baseball, but in the game, it feels as though the only time you can check a swing is if you try to do so all along, rather than having it be a reaction. The only way you can really do it is to very lightly tap the button, which is effectively useless.

I like the way ASB does it--just because you check doesn't mean you didn't go around, and I still get a lot of strike calls when I check. I think MLB players can always check their swing, it's just a matter of doing so in time.

Man, I had some tough ones last night. I barely tapped the button and got a full swing. It's really difficult to check your swing, so you'd better be prepared to swing away if you hit the button at all. It's unfortunate, and I do like ASB's check swing ability better, but at least it forces you to make sure it's a pitch you want before you swing.

I find I can only do it as a reaction. If I try to check swing, I'll fail, But anytime I hit the button, then instantly sieze up with '###$%^^&*!!!!! It's a ball!', I'll reflexively end up witrh a check swing.

                It's kinda cool.

                    Re: Check swing

It is easier to check your swing on off speed stuff but harder on fastballs just like the real thing .With that said i do like the way ASB does the check swing I think the check swing needs a little tweeking for next year

You can also check your swing the "old" way by tapping the button twice which makes it easier to follow the pitch.

I absolutely hated that stupid check swing in ASB. Then you get the stupid appeal every single time. WSB got the check swing perfect IMO.
