How Do You Make A Double Switch IN WSB?

you warm the pitcher up...when you're ready to put him in you'll see the option there.

How about making double swithces with position changes (i.e., move Aaron Boone from second to third, have new pitcher hit in Boone's spot and bringing in a the PH as the new second baseman)?

if you're moving Boone to third, then you can't have the pitcher bat in Boone's spot because he'd still be in the game... What you could do is have the pitcher bat in the original third baseman's spot- as it sounds like that is the guy you really are looking to replace... then, put in your replacement second baseman in the pitcher's spot, only it will list him as the third baseman. This is okay. Accept it, then go back to your substitutions, select defensive replacement (or whatever it's called, I'm doing this from memory) and swap Boone's position(which was 2b) with the current third baseman (who is the guy you want play third base)...
it's really not as confusing as i just made it out to be...

Thanks, Tinman, that's exactly what I'm trying to do. However, I'm not sure how to swap defensive positions at the defensive changes screen. When I highlight the new third baseman, I can select from players on the bench and not a current player (Boone). What am I doing wrong?

Also, last night I was playing and I used a pinch hitter and wanted to leave him in the game and could not because he would automatically come out once I selected a new pitcher. Anybody know how?

Yeah man, after you select the player it takes you to the bench players. Press the square button. (in ps2) Your highlight will be back in the lineup. now whoever you pick will swap positions with the player.
