i think giambi looks great in the game. they could have done better with jeter's stance, but they nailed giambi's i think.

mussina looks pretty good, but he doesn't do the little hop that he does as the ball is crossing the plate.

Re: Does Pedro have his real life pitching rotation

the hop is missing and so is the bend down motion in his stretch.

oddly enough, MVP has HIS motion in the game b/c Mussina is a pitch motion in the created player screen. It moves like him but it's missing the two MOST important aspects of his motion.

The hop and him bendin down in the stretch. too bad.

Giambi's stance isn't motion captured or whatever. But they did pick a really good generic stance for him. It really resembles him.

As for Jeter, they pretty much knocked down the important features. Bat high over the head near the shoulder. Left heal bouncing up and down. But he doesnt seem crouched enough or too crouched. It's weird. It's as if his upper body is crouched but his lower body didnt understand.

                        Close enough though

Actually the game that has the best unique motion captures is MLB 2004. Is just a shame that the rest of the game is not that good.
