Dude I am embarassed to admit it but I used to keep manual stats fro my players in both baseball and football games. Even back as far as Coleco Vision Double Play baseball and Bases Loaded 2.

    Sad, but true

NIce not to have to do that anymore eh?

I thought I was the only one who ever kept the book manually in Bases Loaded 2, man I loved that game.

You guys must have been rich, I could only dream of such a killer system as Colecovision. I remember wishing my Atari could look that good!

I think we'll see a stadium design feature soon - It will probably start off really primitive (only being able to piece together maybe 25 different "pieces" of a park, etc, still making for a bunch of different combinations), but I think it could develop into something really cool.

I'm a nerd too - I play Dynasty League Baseball (table top game), and keep stats by hand - I also once drafted an entire league by myself (30 teams!). I'm a loser.

Oh yeah..I loved play action footabll too. Although I broke the little ball because you had to spin it to throw a pass and to run on baseball (I think). It didn't hold up too well over months of hard use. It rocked at the time!!

Wow, I loved Baseball Stars when I was a kid! I bugged my parents about getting me that game for months.

I used to keep stats, too. I remember on NHL 92 attempting to recreate the actual 1992-93 season, with standings and everything. Yep, I was a dork.

Hey Gagnon39.. I know the feeling. I used to keep track of my Baseball seasons before I even got a computer. I used to play APBA Baseball and Pursue the Pennant, 2 popular board games. I will never forget when I got Tony LaRussa Baseball back in 1993 for the Computer. Best game ever...

I used to go in and manually change the stats every year. It used to take me about 3 weeks to do, but it was worth it. I also played Oldtime Baseball. That game was awesome. It had every team from 1876-1980. And it had all the old stadiums like Ebbitts Field, the Polo Grounds, old Yankee Stadium.

I will never outgrow Baeball games or my love of keeping stats.
