I've had a handful of these hit against me during the course of my Yankees franchise thus far, due to troubles switching fielders in time to keep the ball from rolling, and rolling, and rolling.
But have you guys hit any? I got my first one last night with Soriano against the Twins, and it was pretty sweet. He hit a rocket to the gap in left-center that short-hopped the wall, and when it came off the wall it bounced over Dustin Mohr's head and rolled a ways......barely beat the throw at the plate with a head-first slide. Very cool.
And if you want a good laugh sometime, after a double or a triple or something like that, watch the replay but leave the camera on the pitcher. He kinda just stands around looking like he has no clue what to do.....and around the time Soriano was rounding third, Trombley was on the mound in his full-on pitching stance. Pretty amusing.
