I have drew walks quite a bit and been intentionally walked and i have also walked batters atleast every game almost. Like i have it key hits a couple times in a game or HR which resulted in RBI's with the same guy and come up to bat again and they intenionally walk me and also been hit with pitches and had wild pitched thrown back to the backstop LOL ILOVE THIS GAME

Re: WALKS???
No sliders can affect the amount of walks you throw. I play without the strike zone, without vibration, and without the pitch icon and the only walks I give up are the quick beans when I want to do an intentional walk.
Walks are just about impossible to throw once you get used to the pitching. Considering I also K about 4-8 on average a game Im not just grooving them either. Im using the settings that I believe Graphix had posted. I also dont walk. I dont like sitting on pitches either but that doesnt bother me as much as not being able to pitch a walk. Not enough variation in the pitcher. Just to easy to hit where you want.
High Heat is the only one that came close to the randomness of pitching.

Re: WALKS???
I don't know, with the pitch variation on 'high', I throw a good amount of balls when painting the corners. Of course if I get to 3 balls I then stay away from the corners, so this may be more an indication of us(the player) being afraid of trying that corner ONE more time or with another pitch...something that MLB pitchers may choose to chance (having confidence in his ability to hit the corner).Comment

I throw abot 3-4 a game with my staff. None are intentional, alot of my pitches start missing when the pitchers fatige gets to about 50%.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: WALKS???
I play on All-Star, high variable pitching, no zone/cursor/vibration.
I throw probably 3 walks a game. I also plunk a guy every so often when I go inside. My most erratic game was walking seven and hitting five(!) batters.
Walking is a strategic part of WSB in my opinion. If Griffey's at the plate, I'm not going to throw him a meatball on a 3-0 or 3-1 because he has a good chance of getting at least a double. I like the way WSB handles the pitch variation because it doesn't have the pinpoint accuracy of ASB or the complete randomness of HH.
I also draw 2-3 walks per game.Comment

Re: WALKS???
These were helpful, especially taking off Vibration... but there still wasn't a WALK!!!, it was better in that instead of 4 balls a game, we pitched 17, which is still hardly enough for a walk.
I put the other teams Batting Eye (Balls) at 75, and CPU Throwing Strikes at 15... it will probably help... but does anybody that plays on Legend with the hardest levels, get realistic amount of walks.... share your sliders!SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment
