I'm excited about all the new baseball games that have come out recently, but I'm unsure which one to get? I'm leaning towards WSB 2k3, but I wanted options. Which game is the most realistic, and what's the most fun? FYI....I'm going to be buying this game for the Xbox. Thanks!

Get WSB2k3 which is the best overall well balanced baseball game which is realalitic and lots fun. The other baseballs games are pretty good but the best b-ball game in terms of gameplay, graphics,sound,announcing,animations and the best franchise around WSB2k3 is the way to go. I would rent all of them first and pick the one you feel is the most fun. Each game has their own strengths and weaknesses so you should rent first and figure out which one you want. I am playing WSB 2K3 and I think it's awesome too, but again, it's all about personal preference...Comment

well i havent played this year's hh or asb but to me comparing both mvp and wsb is like comparing hot shots golf and tiger woods. both great games in their own way. mvp is realistic and fun with the pitching meter and when you want to get your uniform dirty.wsb might have some jerky animation and less camera work but striking out the cpu is fun and turning 2 is realistic as you can get. but if i had to pick one i'd go for wsb. let me just give you a small example of why i prefer wsb. yesterday i played 2 games, 1 mvp game and 1 wsb game both with roger clemens pitching.
on the mvp game i lost in the bottom of the ninth because of an inside the park homerun. its about the 7th inside the parker i've given up against the cpu and it sucks bigtime. (clemens had 2 strikeouts total)
in wsb's game i stole second and the catcher threw the ball and it got past the 2nd baseman and i ran to 3rd safely. 2 batters after that the pitcher threw a pass ball. (clemens, 12 stirkeouts) doesnt get any better than that

I too am experiencing very dramatic and fun games and realalitic results in WSB2k3 just tweak around and play with options and see which best suites you. I do think MVP also is more of a arcade feel more then sim even though i rented it and only played like 6 games im stickin with wsb2k3Comment

I have had ASB 2004, HH 2004 and now I have WSB 2K3. So here is my .02:
ASB - Lots of franchise depth and options. Hitting is pretty hard for my 30 year old relexes. Graphics are good but gameplay is a little lacking. ASB is a good but not great game.
HH - I think I played this game last year
It was called HH 2003 for my PC. Graphics have been improved but are sad compared to ASB and WSB. Gameplay is still fantastic but it just seems exactly like last years version to me. Average to good game.
WSB - Graphics are simply stunning. Franchise is a blast with player and front office personell to deal with. Gameplay is very solid. Batting is done with a cursor but it is an entirely different experience than ASB. Lots of little bells and whistles make WSB a great game.
IMO, WSB is the best baseball game for this year.Comment

Not to mention you can play wsb2k3 with the cursor on or off 3 different types of hitting and also have pitch location on off snd strike zone on or off options galoreComment
