Just like real baseball you are pretty much looking for your pitch to hit until you have two strikes. Find the hitters hot zone and wait there. Be patient too, the cpu throw a lot of balls trying to get you to chase.

Just note that this doesn't apply to created players...

Hot/Cold zones are significant in this game and can't be squandered. In pitching and batting, all the same. You ignore the hot/cold zone in pitching, you're just asking for pitches to be hit hard.

Give easy batting and exaggerated pitching a try, and use the hot/cold zones. And definitely spend more than an hour with the game...ASB is not a game that you get a full appreciation for right away. But you'll get the hang of it soon enough.

Since this is the # of posts in ASB forum topic, I'll expand it to all the hot games out there... let's see... there's been more threads on the four games combined than there is in the Pro Baseball forum... pretty weird...

I have a feeling it has more to do with the fact that ASB2004 is on all systems already, and some of the others either aren't coming out on all systems or haven't yet. I opt to use a Graemlin at this impromptu moment for no particular reason:

I PUSH THE TRIANGLE AND BUTTON AND IT'S BLANK. THERE ISN'T ANY KIND OF DIFFERENTIATION. THE CHART COMES UP BUT DOESN'T SHOW ANYTHING. I'M CONFUSED.
