    Small helpful tip...maybe

I was having a problem with my starters getting tired around the 6th or 7th inning even if they were pitching well. And my pitch count would be around 72-77 total. So I went to "Edit Roster" and checked out what stamina the other starters in the league had. Most of them had 119 while my guys are sitting at 115 and lower. So I adjusted all my starters Stamina to 119 and now am having them go into the 8th and 9th. I am also getting around 90 -100 total pitches now. Hopefully this helps someone.

How many of those pitches are balls and are you walking batters?

I don't think I have walked anyone yet, and it's wearing thin on me nerves, lad.

the more balls u throw on the corner, the more times u will walk people, i usually walk 2-3 people a game.

I think I haven't walk 1 batter yet cause I don't try to get hitters to chase pitches that much.

YOu need to go to CUSTOM sliders and fool with that. Also when pitching, no vibration, no pitch cursor, no strikezone, varibable pitch on high. When you choose your pitch location, don't dwell on it. Just flick you stick, let's say you're trying to hit low and away, to low and away and hit the pitch button.

This isn't as precise as taking time to aim the pitch and is really more realistic. It will give you walks pitching to the CPU. I walk 2 or three batters a game.

                        Regarding the stamina:

                        Remember 2 things

1.) If you hold the button for more than .5 seconds, the pitch will have mroe velocity, and you will fatigue quicker

2.) Some pitchers don't make it past the 6th or 7th innings. It is all about pitch count, situation (it seems like if you are throwing a shut out, you tire less quickly, regardless of pitch count), and such. I don't think editting the attributes is the way to go. Hell, I use the O's, and my pitchers barely make it through the 4th (well, that isn't exaclty a stamina thing, more like a talent thing).

                        Regarding the walking:

You have to pitch like a MLB pitcher to walk people. Yeah, I could go through a game not walking anyone. But that would mean I would have to leave some pitches where a dangerous hitter can punish me, or even groove some pitches, about 4-7 times a game. If I challenge that many hitters, I am going to eventually get burned. Remember that most major league pitchers could never walk a guy if thy didn't want to. They would just get lit up nightly for leaving hittable piches out over the plate.

I agree with turning off the vibration and pitch preview, and I am torn between Medium and High pitch variable. It just seems like at High I either hit the middle of the zone, or miss it completely. For refernce, I am using Grpahik's sliders, although I am getting ready to lower the Batting Eye (strikes) slider because of too many first strike swings.

I do all that Jimbo, still no walks. It's the k-zone size.
