but your players can get hurt, one of my pitchers was hurt in Sprin training and was out till June.

It has no effect on player ratings....however, depending on how well you do, you can get a few extra points to spend on free agents, and or in your budget allotment. I have just messed around a few times and simmed some spring trainings and one time I went 8-2 in spring training, and I gained 17 points to spend on free agents in the franchise value screen, and 8 points to use in the budget allotment screen. Then another time, I finished only 3-9, and I lost some points in both departments. So It's kindof important in a sense to do as well as possible, probably more so if you're a small market team. I'm the Rangers, so I have a top 5 payroll and budget, so it doesn't affect me as much.

Nice observation nikeford! I didn't play many spring training games but they helped get me used to fielding and hitting.

Hmm...

My 3rd Sacker has a sore arm that hasn't healed and it's useless to put him in the DL.
My Ace has a concussion that hasn't healed and it's useless to put him in the DL.

they all happened in Spring Training, and it's been more than month since it's happened. Darn Acclaim Studios Austin, you guys have to fix that someday...

Try putting your guys back on the DL, then into the High Minors when there time there is up. They probably need to re-hab their injuries.
