Something that was left out in ASB.
I know it's not a big deal, but they forgot to have the catcher throw the ball back to the pitcher after a pitch is released. Or, does my game have a bug or something like that.Tags: None -
Re: Something that was left out in ASB.
You are probably playing on "FAST" gamespeed. I believe that this is the default setting. If you play on "NORMAL" game speed the catcher will throw the ball back to the pitcher. I'm pretty sure anyway, I know this was the case last year...I haven't checked this year. Hope that helps. -

No, on either game speed, the catcher never throws back the ball to the pitcher. That was the one of the reasons that the game took so long last year, which was one of the main complaints. So they cut it out of this year's version.Comment

Bah that sucks. They should have atleast left an option in it this year. That ruins the pitching element of the game basically....Comment

Absolutely... how can any baseball game survive without including the thrill and suspense of the ball being thrown back to the pitcher?
And in another giant step backwards, this year's ASB, upon changing the infielders' positioning (say, to double play depth), they don't take ten seconds to actually run into position. Instead, their locations are instantly altered.
I mean, who could possibly want the benefit of quicker games at the cost of completely superfluous animations?
