    A Perfect Game

was broken up by Todd Hollendsworth in the 9th inning with 2 outs, I couldn't believe it, I was getting all excited then he lines one right up the box and I wanted to dive for it but of course you can't. Very frustrating, it was with Mark Prior who was recently accquired from the Cubs and starting for my DBacks. His line was as follows, 9IP 1H, 0BB, 10K, I even had him go the very next game because of a rotation problem since I traded my 4th starter and he shutdown the Marlins again, 9IP 5H, 0BB, 3K. Got to love that kid. My rotation for my DBacks is now Randy, Oswalt, Halladay, Prior, Dessens. That should carry me into the playoffs and onto my first World Series I hope. Has anyone thrown a perfect game yet?

I have thrown a perfect game with one of my created pitchers. He's not a superstar either, and I created him to be an offspeed, breaking ball kind of thrower. The game didn't recognize the feat at all. The commentators didn't say anything, the box score didn't notate it, other than the actual stats, and the league news section didn't carry any news about it.

he pitched two complete games in a row? did you have 4 days off or something?

nope, back to back days, I mean he was tired as [censored], but I just pitched barely past the green all game and managed to get outs. Got to love the kid.

sounds like you're taking advantage of the so called, weak pitch flaw. i.e. when you don't throw with too much effectiveness the cpu has trouble getting hits. So really, you're not good, you're just abusing what may be a flaw in the game.
