help with hitting

new to wsb,using standard cursor hitting, and pitch speeds on very fast. i can make contact, but i cant seem to get the ball out of the infield. any tips? also, how often do you use the power swing?

I hate to say it (being this my first post and all), but the best thing to do is practice. I played about 15 games and had absolutely no luck putting the ball into play on a consistent basis, so what I did was actually put the pitch preview on for a few games (I know that's horrible, but what can you do) just to get a feel for where the ball was going once it left the pitcher's hand. I then switched it back off and had a much better idea of where the ball was going (although guys throwing sidearm still give me a fit {I'm looking at you 'Stros bullpen}). I don't know if that's helpful, but that's the way I approached it and it helped me quite a bit; eh, to each his own.
