Are you able to get a realistic # of K's on MVP or higher?

I like the batting challenge on MVP but it is too hard in my opinion to get strikeouts. Are you having any success?

I'm having the same problem . I average like 3 K's a game, thats if I'm lucky.

All pitchers in baseball dont strike hitters out all the time. Lets take a look at pedro martinez.

3 games pedro had 4 k's
4 games pedro had 5 k's
3 games pedro had 6 k's

The teams were randomly good and bad teams and this was all from last year.

But if you want more k's adjust the cpu contact slider and you will get more k's.

Here are some tips for pitching also

1. Know your pitchers. You dont want to pitch the same way with lowe and pedro.

2. I have found two money pitches. Curveball up and away and the best is a slider up and away. Then come back high and inside with a fastaball.

3. Pitch around the big hitters on the respective team linups

4. if you get a count like 3-2, on most hitters I am still trying to hit corners. Dont just throw a pitch over the plate. If I walk the guy that is ok.

5 Ks were the most I got in about 10 games.

I seem to get a realistic amount of Ks on MVP, like with pedro 9-12, and with RJ around the same number. The key for me is the throw balls when your ahead in the count, even at 0-1, because the computer is in a swinging mode when its behind. Funniest thing, I was RJ against the Dodgers, 1st base is open and Shawn Green is up, so I pitch around him, throwing all balls, and I managed to strike him out.

I geat a pretty realistic amount of K's on MVP also. I just have to get the feel of the strike zone then work it up and down.....the strike zone that is
