I'm beginning to like ASB pitch speed...

You may think I'm crazy, but I play on normal pitch speed with the normal cursor and have a blast. I strike out about 6-7 times a game, buit that is realistic. In baseball, there are some pitches you just CAN'T hit. I get a good mix of types of hits and I like how you can direct your hitting (opposite field etc.) just like rel life situational hitting.
Sure hitting a 98 MPH fastball is hard, but in real life wouldn't it be hard as well. I absolutely love every aspect of this game! It surprises me every time a play it.

I agree!!! I have played many baseball sims in the past where I NEVER struck out.. I consider myself a fairly skilled player..and I average 6-10k's a game. If only human pitching was better (less control) the K/BB aspect ratio in the game is awesome

Bottom line..this game is hard.

I'm comfortable with the pitches. I anticapate the curve balls and fastballs the most. I always get tricked by the curveball, hate that pitch.

I get 7-10K's with my good pitcheres (except for my second guy, who has been struggling the whole season). The others get 3-5K's per game.

I just don't like the fact that you can swing after the ball hits the catcher, and the ball will be put into play. You also have to swing almost before the ball is released to pull a fastball. I'm still trying to get used to it. I'm using easy hitting and exaggerated pitching.

What level ya playin' on? If you play on AllStar, the hits will be more realistic! if you play on...say Rookie or Veteran, You hit anything close to plate, which is not realistic.

Yea, I tried normal pitching but after i swung at Clemens,Johnson,Page fastball and then a Page Palm ball or Change up, Damn!!!! I was swingin' WAY TOO DAMN EARLY!!!
My timing was way off! You have to have Lightning quick reflexes and sometimes i don't think the bat responds as fast as i want it to! lol!!! Its A challenge though!! ASB's the " BASEBALL GAME OF THE YEAR " as far as i'm concerned!!!!
