Only thing I could reccomend is a LOT of practice...

Practice in CB2k3 really helped my 3pt shooting.

If practice doesn't help...I agree with TP... I still have a PS TP 99 copy..interested?

It's not too tough. I already explained that I found a way for the game to best suit me, lol. Just because I can't do Veteran or All-Star doesn't mean I suck, it just means that it's my level of gameplay. I haven't been playing Baseball video games for very long, you can't expect me to rule right off the back

I honestly can't believe that anyone can hit with Veteran or All-Star, unless of course they are using Easy hitting and Exaggerated Pitching, no offense.

I'm gonna go play some ball now.

Stoud, I'm gonna look up triple play, and send you a copy,...you obviously aren't major league material.

              I don't appreciate your "sympathy".

I can't play Veteran or All-Star, and I'm not going to be hazed by some elitest idiot on a message board. Sorry.

I still have trouble believing anyone when they say "All-Star is too easy". Anyone could say that, but I'd like to see them do it. I'd also like to know just about every little thing they turn off and on in game options.

I play Rookie w/out the annoying as hell tips from Jeter/coach, w/out strike zone, normal cursor, normal pitching. This mix has made the game more than realistic enough for me, and I don't need to be told by other people that I suck at a game when in all respects, the way I'm playing it, I'm doing well and I feel like I'm earning my keep.

Whether or not you and the others are the Hardocre gamers you propose to be, I'll never know, but you don't really make me want to believe you when all you can do is brag and propose the Idea that I'm not good at this game or others.

LOL Don't take any of this crap personal bro!
Nikeford actually got booted off this site for his smart-*** mouth(fingers?)so don't take him too serious, they're just messin with ya'! Any level that suits you is cool, after a while you will begin to generate too much offense on rookie and you'll be moving up to vet in no time. Just take a LOT of batting practice.

Yea man, I'm just messing with you. We're all friends here...I have been rehabilitated and I'm harmless to society now. I too agree with you, I play all star level with zone batting and normal pitch, and I find it hard as hell! My team is batting a pathetic .238 and thats simming half the games, so the cpu isn't even helping me out! No harm done, I hope....friends??

I played WSB for a couple of days this weekend. Once the novelty wore off and I returned to ASB, I booted up a franchise game and proceeded to strikeout with my first 5 batters. Goodbye franchise, hello batting practice.

IT TOOK ME ABOUT 20-25 MINUTES TO HIT THE DAMN BALL!

I could barely make contact. After the supremely....sssssslooow......pitches of WSB (even on very fast) I could NOT get around on the ASB heat. I knew these pitches were fast of course, but DAMN! There is a major, MAJOR difference between All-Star and the WSB. I felt like a little leaguer facing the freakin' Unit. SHEEESH!
