Brew Crew in Playoffs Since '82

Earlier today, the Brewers won and the Mets lost. This was historic because 3 things:

1. Mets have another historical collapse
2. C.C. won another game on 3-days rest (CG 0 ER, 7K, 4H, 1BB)
3. Brewers in playoffs for first time since 1982 WITHOUT Ned Yost

BEFORE C.C.
43-40

AFTER C.C.

47-32

The Brewers playoff run relied on:

1. C.C. dominating the NL like last year versus the AL
2. Prince and Braun coming through in the clutch (2 GW HR in last 5 games)
3. The Mets with another collapse

I am NOT a Brewer fan, but I love C.C. and Prince and love to see the Mets absolutely **** their pants in the final month of the season, like last year (SORRY METS FANS).

Will there be a playoff boycott in New York with no team in the playoffs this year?.

I wonder if the Mets are re-thinking that 4 year extension for Minaya yet.

They have to be thinking about letting Minaya go. You know New York, always doing crazy **** and getting pissed off when it doesn't work.

No playoff boycott for me...I love baseball too much for that. Happy to see the Mets choke and was upset that the Yanks didnt make it to the playoffs this year but Im getting myself ready for another crazy offseason this year for the Yanks. Would like to see CC, AJ Burnett, Manny or Matt Holliday on the Yanks next year

In the playoffs, obviously im going for any team that plays the Red Sox in the AL but am rooting for the Cubbies to win it all.
