I hate the White Sox so I'm pretty bummed that the Twins couldn't pull it out. I'd say they're favorites to take the division next year, though.

I just got back. Holy cow what a game. Griffey's play and Anderson's dive at the end was spectacular.

That was a pretty good game but man do I feel sorry for Blackburn. The guy pitched a whale of a ballgame only to be outdueled by Bobby Jenks.

I do have to take exception with something though. I didn't like the fact that the Twins tried to score on such a shallow fly ball. In some respects that kind of put Jenks off the hook. I also have to laugh at (I think it was) Ron Darling who said "well they may never have another shot like this again they gotta try to score". That makes NO sense at all. If that's the Twins' only shot then why make the final out on such a shallow fly ball when you could have someone batting and getting the run across that way.

That was the turning point of the whole game IMO and if I were managing I wouldn't have tried to score on that fly ball.

Twins offense is really bad and Griffey is a really bad CFer now. It was the right move.

          And it's Danks.

Bobby Jenks? He closed the game out, but the starter was John Danks...

It may have been the right move and Griffey is a bad Center Fielder but on that play his lack of range wasn't involved. Griffey has always had a decent arm and still does.
