Re: Cpu Steals
CPU is too easy to throwout.
The catcher never seems to miss the target even if you fill the meter to red. So I just do and easy out."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Ichiro kills me. But Rafael Furcal has stolen a few off of me too. It depends on the catcher, too, for both human and CPU steals. I've noticed different catchers making a big difference in the speed and accuracy of throws.
It is a little too hard to steal in the game, but against catchers like Irod and in his heyday Charles Johnson, people really didn't run much, and got thrown out a lot if they did. Mike Matheny has a pretty good percentage in real life too. And consider that those percentages are from throwing out mostly the fastest runners in the league, who try to steal by far the most.
So in real life it is pretty hard to steal successfully, but I do think it is a little bit too tough in this game.Comment
