Thinking about trading in ASB for HH
I am considering trading in ASB for HH and was just wandering what type of game HH is. I do realize that it is the best simulation baseball game out there, and I know that the graphics aren't the best, but believe me I can get over that. My concerns are the franchise mode. Does the cpu make realistic decisions about roster management or does he screw up. I have heard all types of junk mostly from fanboys of other games. If you have HH please post your honest opinion. Its not that ASB is bad, I just want a realistic baseball sim and ASB doesn't deliver. Thank you in advance.Tags: None -
Re: Thinking about trading in ASB for HH
I haven't made it throught a season yet so I have no idea what might happen at the trade dead line or off season.
However during the game the AI will make defensive subs if they are winning late. They will use their closer and will also allow a starter to achieve a complete game if he has a shut-out going.
The AI has lefty/righty line-ups.
I tried to trade for Vlad and the AI wouldn't trade him. I am waiting for the off-season to see what kind of moves I can pull off.

Re: Thinking about trading in ASB for HH
do the cpu controlled teams give players "rest days" or do their starters play the entire season unless injured? Thanks in advance!Comment

Re: Thinking about trading in ASB for HH
The CPU controlled teams in HH do everything a real baseball team would do.
Trading in ASB for Q-Bert would be a good move.be who you are and say what you feel, because those who matter don't mind, and those that mind, don't matter.Comment

Re: Thinking about trading in ASB for HH
HH is a good game from what I hear, first i like to say that Q-Bert is nowhere near ASB. Anyways, I was thinking of getting this game, but it didn't have expansion so I'm looking towards that for next year... BTW, can anyone tell me what features they have for franchise other than it being unlimited year?Comment

Re: Thinking about trading in ASB for HH
ASB has a lot of bells and whistles, but I compiled a list of likes while I was playing both games; HH's side had more. About the only thing would make me like ASB better is the old school unis, but that doesn't make up for the gameplay, in which HH has.Comment
