are there less injuries in ps2 version?

i remember people complaining about too many injuries in the xbox version. was this toned down for ps2?

I'm 2 months into the season, and I've had edgardo alfonzo and bonds both out for 8 days apiece, and some lesser players out just for 1 day.

in my second game, maddex was indured for 60 days after catching a pop up after ony 5 pitches.

I'm 4 games into my Giants season and I have two minor injuries and,they were in the same game,guess i'll have to play a little more.

I seem to get an injury about every other game in my PS2's WSB. .

I saw Shea Hillenbrand blow his knee out. But mostly hamstrings and shoulder injuries.
