The problem with the strikeouts\walks\bass to strikes ration is simply the CPU not waiting for their pitch.

The just swing at anything in the strikezon, and it causes the problem. I just cannot seem to find a way to rectify it no mater what I do.

I almost wish the hot\cold zones were'nt shown so I wouldn't avoid the red all the time.

I don't have that problem. You may need to adjust you batting eye levels.

So when you pitch you dont have 30 strikes and 4 balls?

I think it's a problem, but I get 3-2 counts against the AI, I just never walk them! I throw about 25-30% of the time, maybe a little higher to good hitters. That is really the only problem I personally have with this game, the lack of AI walks. Somehow though I am still having enough fun with WSB to look past that! I am also going to hold on to HH in case the walk thing becomes too iritating!

I am having very good results since I turned the pitching cursor off. My last game, Mark Prior had a "97-65" line, which is pretty realistic. 2 walks, I think, and several times went deep in the count.

Your the one aiming the pitches, if you don't want to paint the corners and just throw stuff you know will be strikes then that's up to you. If your like me and try and get the cpu to try and chase and to paint the corners, then with variable pitching on your going to throw plenty of balls. I usually will have quite a few balls thrown.

I have variable high, kzone off vibration off and everything else off.

I have never walked a batter.
