Did you play or sim the game? I can't possibly imagine getting a perfect game much less 14 ks, especially in my first game... The best I've gotten is 6 ks with Prior against the Yankees.

Played the entire game and it was on Pro.

When Pitching its fairly simple.

When pitching you dont need to fill up your meter all the way to get a good pitch across. Just fill the meter to where its blue never get it into the red cause thats there fatigue.

For me to strikeout batters I have been doing this for for years in baseball games. so here are the hints:

On left sided batter work them inside and then when u have 2 strikes on them drop something off speed on the outside corner.

Batters on the right work on the outside and then come in when you have 2 strikes come in with a slider or a curve. and there u go u have a strikeout.

Strikeout pitches will be a curve,slider or Changeup

Start the count bringing the heat.

So there are the hints that u wanted try it jim416 and then get back to me.

Well, truthfully that is too scripted for me. If you can find a pattern that leads to a bunch of Ks then I"d just as soon forget the game.

yeah I just simply tend to use somewhat of whatever I can get for an 0-2 count and I usually get the K with a fast ball low either inside or outside. Doesnt always work though....

On all star I struck out 13 with Jason Schmidt and threw a 10 strike out 1-hitter with damian moss.

Striking plalyers out on pro is way too easy. On allstar the strike out numbers are just perfect.

Once you get two strikes, a high heater or a down and in curve ball usually does the trick. Throw the fast ball just barely out of the strike zone high. Also, low and away sliders that just break into the zone work (when a righty is pitching to a lefty, or vice versa). The main thing though is to mix up your pitches. Don't use the high heat for your strike out pitch if you've already thrown a fast ball or two. Setting up your pitches well really does work.
