For example, I heard Piazza and Andruw Jones being announced by PA as #00, not a big deal, but can be annoying sometimes.

They do that for matsui even though they say his name the pa says number 55

along the whole losing your mind tip- I swear that sometimes the announcer will just announce a random name of a player who is not even on either team...
anyone able to back me up on that?

yeah, when you edit a player, ie the catcher for the cubs - damian miller - instead of the announcer saying "now batting, the catcher", he says the player's original name (the name BEFORE one edits to Damian Miller). weird
