Do they retire???

I was wondering if ASB was made the same way as Madden 2003? What I mean is that do all the same players always retire after the same season? For Instance in Madden after the first franchise season Oakland Raiders looses Rice, Brown, Gannon, Romanowski, Woodson... . Its really frustrating that there is nothing you can do about it. Do the retire times change in ASB??

No...its seems like it could be dependent on the type of year they had...etc...because I have simulated many seasons...actually to check this! There were years when I had players who would indeed retire, but then the next time I simulated...none of the same players would...kinda cool.

Well that is excellent news because I just hate to know what happens after every season. and Not that Im an Oakland fan but hey they loose too many great players but I guess that sometimes happens.

yes, it is different each time. I had Carolos Baegra on my team and was simming to see what happens and 1 year he retired, then I re did it and he did not retire.

By the way, I feel you on the Madden thing. I simulated with Oakland multiple times and always dreaded my first offseason.

I watching Bonds to see if he will break the HR record. Season 1 he only hit 46 so hopefully he won't retire after my 2nd season.
